Am I entitled to a trial?
Yes, you’re eligible for a trial. You’ll get $20 off your first visit! To learn how to access it, go to “drop-in.“
I have never trained in my life. Is Blackburn Athletics for me?
Absolutely! Our concept is based on the principle that anyone can take our courses, regardless of your level. Our coaches are always on hand to guide you and offer alternatives if needed.
I am not sure if I have the level required to follow your training.
On the contrary! No matter what the theme of the day, you will always have your choice of load and number of reps. Our workouts are adapted to YOUR level.
This is my first visit. What do I need?
The beauty of our concept is that you don’t have to think about anything! Just bring your water bottle, shoes different from those you wear outdoors, and a towel; we’ll take care of the rest!
We ask you to arrive a few minutes before the start of the workout to give yourself time to change and to allow us to start the explanations on time.
What is the minimum age to train at Blackburn Athletics?

How does the referral program work?
Are you referring Blackburn Athletics to a friend? Locate your referral code on the homepage of your Fliip app, then share it with a new member. When purchasing their first subscription, the new member will be able to enter your referral code in the discount coupon section of the purchase window in their customer account. You will then receive a $20 credit on your next purchase at Blackburn Athletics!
Can we share a subscription?
The only shareable membership is the 50 class card, as long as it is shared between people who live at the same address. To register a share, make sure to select the 50 class card and proceed to checkout in one of the accounts. Then, send us an email at info@blackburnathletics.com with the emails associated with the accounts that want to share the 50 class card as well as proof of residence for each of the people who will be sharing the membership.
Is it possible to book for 2 people?
Multiple bookings are not possible on the same account. To reserve your spot in a class, you must have your own account. To create a new account for another family member, simply click here: DROP-IN
Can I suspend my subscription?
In the event of illness or injury, for example, you can suspend your annual or monthly membership up to twice a year, for periods ranging from one week to a maximum of two months. The monthly payments stipulated in your contract are suspended during the suspension period and resume at the end of the suspension period. There is no need to request a suspension for your course cards, which automatically never expire.
I'd like to change my subscription. Is that possible?
You can upgrade your monthly subscription at any time at no cost (e.g., from a 2x/week subscription to a 3x/week subscription). The new subscription starts for a new cycle. You can also downgrade your monthly subscription (e.g., go from a 3x/week subscription to a 2x/week subscription). In this case, you will have to pay a cancellation fee ($50) for the first subscription, and then start the new subscription for a new one-year period.
I want to cancel my subscription. How do I do?
You may cancel your annual agreement within a period equal to or less than 1/10 of the term of the subscription free of charge. After this period, you may cancel your annual agreement for a cancellation fee of $50. For all subscription cancellation requests, please send us the cancellation form by e-mail to info@blackburnathletics.ca.
Special Considerations
I lack motivation / I don't have time to come to training.
We know finding the time and motivation can be challenging, but every little bit helps! Our workouts are designed to fit into your schedule and keep you motivated. Take the first step, and we’ll be there to guide you!
I have a last minute problem. What do I do?
You can cancel your reservation with one or two hours’ notice before the start of a class without losing your reserved class. To do this, log in directly to your Fliip account, which allows for scheduled bookings.
I'm pregnant / I recently gave birth / I had an injury. Can I still train at BBA?
Provided you have a GO from your doctor, our team of trainers is trained to suggest alternatives to any movement that may be problematic. Don’t hesitate to inform about your constraints, restrictions or injuries!
Can I bring my child or baby to Blackburn Athletics?
Babies are welcome in all our classes as long as they remain in their carrier and stay close to you! Children who are not in their carrier are strictly prohibited from moving around the training area.
Parent-child course: Fliip account: How does the parent-child course work?
To reserve your place in the parent-child course, reserve only for the parent, directly on your Fliip account. The $5 fee per child is payable on site!
